Google Chrome

Previous Next

Google Chrome is a freeware web browser developed by Google. It used the Web Kit layout engine until version 27 and, with the exception of its IOS releases, from version 28 and beyond uses the Web Kit fork Blink.

Jeff Nelson claims to be the inventor of the Google Chrome OS, but this has been disputed. He is an author of two books on internet technology, Programming Mobile Objects with Java and Java Class Libraries: Special Edition. He was an engineer at eBay and the lead engineer for eBay Search.

Chrome OS is an operating system designed by Google and based upon the Linux kernel. Google announced the project in July 2009, conceiving it as an operating system in which both applications and user data reside in the cloud: hence Chrome OS primarily runs web applications.

Step 3- Determine if you want Chrome as your default browser.

Step 4- Click “Accept and Install” after reading the Terms of Service. The installer will start and you will have Google Chrome installed when it has finished. Depending on your browser settings, you may need to allow the program to run.
