Personal bio data:-

Bhagat Singh was a great Indian freedom fighter. He is a type of boldness. He was born on 27 September 1907 in a Sikh family in Layalpur, Punjab. Every one says him a national hero. He had only a goal in his life that is destruction of British Empire. He gave a new wave to the revolutionary movement in India.
What Bhagat Singh does for country:-
Bhagat receive education in DAV school in Lahore. He did not complete his education because he was very disturbed. He was determined by the Jalianwala Bagh massacre at the age of 12 years. His wish to British out from India became stronger. In 1921 the Non-Cooperation Movement called by Gandhi Ji joined by Bhagat. The incidence of Chauri-Chaura in Gorakhpur made the violent and he decided to earn freedom with armed revolution rather than non-violence. Then he joined the National College in Lahore, a centre of revolutionary activities.

He organize a union of revolutionaries the name by ‘Naujavan Bharat Sabha’ to send message of revolution in Punjab. Bhagat went to attend a meeting of revolutionaries to Delhi in 1928.  During the Delhi visit he meant to Chandrashekhar Azad. They both had a common aim republic of India. They build ‘Hindustan Samajvadi Prajatantra Sangha’. There was challenge across of Simon Commission visit to India and in this protest Lala Lajpat Rai was brutally lathi charged and later on he died. He was determined to kill the British official and Deputy Inspector General Scott responsible for the death of Lala Lajpat Rai. He hit assistant superintendent Saunders and ran from Lahore to escape punishment by mistake. On 18 April 1929 he threw a bomb in the Central Legislative Assembly. For all this he punish to death on 23 March 1931.

Deeds of Bhagat Singh

Bhagat Singh was against individual acts of terrorism and gave a clarion call for mass mobilisation. In 1928, he met to another famous freedom fighter Chandrasekhar Azad. They both combined and formed the 'Hindustan Samajvadi Prajatantra Sangha'. In 1928, Simon Commission visit to Lahore. To protest against the Simon Commission all the parties marched towards the Lahore railway station. To stop this procession of parties’ police made a lathi charge at all the members of that party. In this lathi charge Lala Lajpat Rai was injured badly and he died. To take the revenge of Lal Lajpat Rai's death, Bhagat Singh and his assosciates decided to kill the British officer (Deputy Inspector General Scott) who is responsible for the lathi charge and Lala Lajpat rai’s killing. But accidentally all the revolutionaries killed an Assistant Superintendent of Police.

On April 8, 1929 Bhagat deliver a bomb in the Central Legislative Assembly and after that courted arrest.  For their subversive activities give death as punishment by a court to Sukh Dev, Raj Guru and Bhagat Singh.  They were holding on march23, 1931. Bhagat Singh is still seen as the role model by a large number of young people in India. His sense of sacrifice, patriotism and courage are something that will be revered and looked upon by generations to come.
