Badminton is a game played between two or four players. Both teams have to make points in order to defeat the other team. This is a small tutorial that explains the basic rules of how to play this game.

The game of badminton was introduced to England in the 1800s by soldiers. The first badminton game was held in 1898, and the sport quickly rose in popularity.

The International Badminton Federation was created in 1934, and by 1936 included 10 countries. Games were played in double and single player competitions.

Badminton officially became a recognized Olympic sport in 1992 in Barcelona. As of 2015, seven different countries, including Russia, China and Korea have won medals in this sport
