Pakistan issues a censure after three attacks blamed on terrorists strike Mumbai, targeting the city's Opera House district, its Zaveri bazaar and the central Dadar area.

Three successive bomb blasts rocked the city of Mumbai on Wednesday evening. The Blasts has been confirmed as terrorist attacks and were programmed to explode during evening rush hour in busy localities. The first bomb blasts went off in the busy Zaveri Bazaar, the second in the Opera House Business District and the third one in the Dadar District. The last bomb blasts went off at 7pm. The Union Home Ministry in New Delhi has confirmed that the explosions were caused by Improvised Explosive Devices.

Killing at least 21 people and injuring more than 100 others. Most of the injured were rushed to various hospitals in Mumbai, such as J.J. Hospital, St. George's Hospital, Harikishandas Hospital and G.T. Hospital. Following the explosion, phone lines were jammed and communications ceased or were available intermittently for at least a few hours. Other metropolitan cities, including Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore, were also put on high alert.  Quickly after the explosion, the Mumbai Police sent an SMS to a few mobile phone users in Mumbai reading.
