What is Google Play Store App?

Google Play is a digital distribution service, including a digital media store, the Google Play Store (originally the Android Market), operated and developed by Google. It serves as the official app store for the Android operating system, allowing users to browse and download applications developed with the Android SDK and published through Google. Google Play also serves as a digital media store, offering music, magazines, books, movies, and television programs. It previously offered Google hardware devices for purchase until the introduction of a separate online hardware retailer, Google Store, on March 11, 2015.

Google Play services a used to update Google apps and apps from Google Play. This component provides core functionality like authentication to your Google services, synchronized contacts, and access to all the latest user privacy settings, and higher quality, lower-powered location based services.

Google Play was launched on March 6, 2012, bringing together the Android Market, Google Music, and the Google eBookstore under one brand, marking a shift in Google's digital distribution strategy. The services operating under the Google Play banner are: Google Play Music, Google Play Books, Google Play Newsstand, Google Play Movies & TV, and Google Play Games. The Google Play store has reached over 2.2 million apps published and over 50 billion downloads.


How to download and install Google Play Store app?

1. Open the App Drawer.

2. Tap on settings and Tab on security.

3. Toggle Unknown sources on.

4. Tap OK This will allow you to download the Google Play from a third party site.

5. Open your mobile browser.

6. Search for the most recent version of the Google Play Store.

7. Download the file.

8. Open the notification centre.

9. Tap the downloaded file.

10. Tap on install and after installing tap on done.

11. Now Google Play Store app is installed.

How to use Google Play Store app?

1. Unlock your Android phone.

2. Press the Menu button to go to the Menu screen.

3. Locate and tap the Play Store icon from the apps list.

4. From Add a Google Account window, tap Existing (Assuming you already have a Gmail account).

5. On the Sign in window, enter your Gmail credentials in the Email and Password fields.

6. Once done, tap the right arrow icon from bottom-right corner of the screen.

7. On the Set up payment info interface, tap the option representing your preferred payment method, and tap Continue to proceed. Alternatively, you can also tap SKIP from the bottom-left corner to setup your billing information later.

8. Under the Backup and restore window, tap the Keep this phone backed up with my Google Account checkbox.

9. Finally, tap the arrow button from the bottom-right corner to start using Play Store.

10. Now you use Google Play Store app.

11. Go to Google Play Store app and type name of app in search box and tap on search.

12. Now download and install the app and use it.
